STARTING XI
This is by no means
a full-time gig. There are two of us at present, colliding every so often
to drink coffee and make music. We took the early Pavement model, when
they lived on different sides of the USA, and applied it to Scotland.
It fits our purpose.
Martin Donnelly lives
in Leith and works in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Writes and records sporadically. He plays
some of the guitars, all of the percussion, and sings. Not much of a musician,
therefore, but comfortable with words. Poetry published in New Writing
Scotland and Paper Cuts. Available for jury duty and quality
assurance advice.
Andrew Bush is a
recording engineer in Glasgow. He plays piano, organ, guitar, and records
the whole shebang. Sound is his thing.
We play to our stengths
and our weaknesses. After Tom Waits, we'll take our music with
the pips left in.
We hope it fits your purpose.
